 Validity of CGHS card in all CGHS Centres

The Department of Health & Family Welfare (DOH&FW) has reaffirmed the nationwide validity of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) card. As per their Office Memorandum dated 1.5.2023, which reiterates an earlier OM dated 17.12.2012, a CGHS card is valid at any CGHS center throughout the country. 

This means that beneficiaries can access CGHS services at any center without requiring additional documentation. Furthermore, for chronic illnesses, medicines are to be issued for up to three months. 

Additionally, referrals to empanelled private hospitals can be issued from any CGHS wellness center. This clarification ensures that CGHS beneficiaries have seamless access to healthcare services across India.

மத்திய அரசு சுகாதாரத் திட்ட (CGHS) அட்டையின் நாடு தழுவிய செல்லுபடியை சுகாதார மற்றும் குடும்ப நலத்துறை (DOH&FW) மீண்டும் உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. 17.12.2012 தேதியிட்ட முந்தைய அலுவலக குறிப்பை மீண்டும் வலியுறுத்தும் வகையில், 1.5.2023 தேதியிட்ட அவர்களின் அலுவலக குறிப்பின்படி, CGHS அட்டை நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள எந்த CGHS மையத்திலும் செல்லுபடியாகும். 

அதாவது பயனாளிகள் கூடுதல் ஆவணங்கள் தேவையில்லாமல் எந்த மையத்திலும் CGHS சேவைகளை அணுகலாம். மேலும், நாள்பட்ட நோய்களுக்கு, மருந்துகள் மூன்று மாதங்கள் வரை வழங்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

 கூடுதலாக, அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட தனியார் மருத்துவமனைகளுக்கு பரிந்துரை எந்த CGHS நல மையத்திலிருந்தும் வழங்கப்படலாம். இந்த தெளிவுபடுத்தல் CGHS பயனாளிகள் இந்தியா முழுவதும் சுகாதார சேவைகளை தடையின்றி அணுகுவதை உறுதி செய்கிறது.
