91. Can a Government servant on deputation who earns a MACPS upgrade in their parent cadre claim Deputation (Duty) Allowance on that upgraded pay?
No, an officer selection may be allowed to opt to draw the pay in the higher scale under ACP/MACP without deputation allowance during the period of deputation.

92. Are Group "D" non-matriculate employees in the pre-revised scale of Rs. 2750-4400 treated as merged into the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 for MACPS?
Yes, they are treated on par with other Group "D" scales, upgraded, and merged into the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 in PB-1.

93. Are erstwhile Group "D" employees placed in Grade Pay Rs. 1800 w.e.f. 01.01.2006 entitled to a 3% increment raise during successive pay fixation?
Yes, on the analogy of Point 22 of Annexure-I of MACPS, their pay shall be fixed successively in the next three immediate higher grade pays allowing the benefit of a 3% pay fixation at every stage.

94. What Grade Pay is admissible during the window 01.01.2006 to 31.08.2008 to erstwhile Group "D" officials who received TBOP and BCR promotions before 01.01.2006?
They are allowed the Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 for TBOP and Rs. 2000 for BCR during that period, on the analogy of the decision taken for the Postman Cadre.

95. When does a directly recruited Postal Assistant who received TBOP after 16 years of service before 21.09.2008 become eligible for 2nd MACP?
A95: They become eligible for 2nd MACP on completion of 20 years of continuous service from the date of entry, or 10 years of service in the TBOP grade pay/scale, whichever is earlier (effective from 01.09.2008).
