81. What happened to the four pre-revised Group "D" pay scales upon the implementation of the 6th Pay Commission's recommendations?
They were upgraded and replaced by the revised pay structure of Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 in Pay Band PB-1.

82. Are past promotions or upgrades under the August 1999 ACPS to the four pre-revised Group "D" scales counted or ignored under MACPS?
On the analogy of Point 5 of Annexure-I of MACPS, such past promotions/upgradations to these four scales carrying Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 are completely ignored.

83. Do past promotions earned by existing Group "D" employees to the Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 count for the purpose of MACPS?
Yes, promotions or financial upgradations earned by existing Group "D" employees to the Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 (pre-revised Rs. 3050-4590) shall be counted under MACPS.

84. What is the absolute final entitlement for DR Assistants / DR Grade "C" Stenographers who received a Non-Functional Grade (NFG) in the Grade Pay of Rs. 5400?
They are entitled strictly to only a 3rd financial upgradation in the immediate higher Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- on completion of 30 years of continuous service or 10 years stagnation in a single grade pay, whichever is earlier.

85. Can DR Assistants/Stenographers who have reached the NFG Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 claim any further financial upgradation beyond Rs. 6600?
No, it is explicitly clarified that no further financial upgradation beyond the Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- would be admissible to such officials under MACPS.
