Organizational Setup
The Department of Posts operates under the Ministry of Communications. As of the provided information, the Minister of Communication is Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, and the Minister of State of Communication is Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani.
The Department of Posts is headed by the Secretary, Department of Posts, Government of India, who is also the Director General Postal Services and is responsible for departmental operations.

Postal Circles and Their Jurisdictions For administrative purposes, India is divided into 23 Postal Circles, each with its administrative jurisdiction and headquarters:
