TA Rules

141. Whether an official attending a departmental inquiry as a Defence Assistant is entitled to draw TA/DA? 
Yes. A Government servant attending a departmental inquiry as a Defence Assistant is entitled to draw TA/DA. (TA Rules)

142. Is a Government servant entitled to draw TA for temporary duty for a period of less than 30 days?
Yes. A Government servant is entitled to draw TA for temporary duty for a period of less than 30 days. (TA Rules)

143. Whether an official who is on tour/temporary duty is entitled to draw Transport Allowance (TA)?

 No. The official is not entitled to draw Transport Allowance (TA) if the tour/temporary duty covers a full calendar month. If it is partial, the TA is admissible for the full month. (TA Rules)

144. Whether a Government servant is entitled to draw TA/DA for attending a trade union meeting? 

No. A Government servant is not entitled to draw TA/DA for attending a trade union meeting. (TA Rules)

145. Whether an official on transfer from one station to another is entitled to draw DA? 
Yes. On transfer, an official is entitled to draw DA for the first ten days from the date of his joining the new headquarters. (TA Rules)
