1. What is the official cutoff date for submitting applications to be considered by the April CRC? 

According to Order No. 17-1/2022-SPG-II dated 27.09.2022, for any death or medical retirement occurring up to December 31st, the application must be received by the Division or Unit by January 31st of the following year to be considered in the April CRC meeting. Applications received after January 31st will not be considered until the following cycle. 

2. Can a widow be appointed as an MTS Trainee if she lacks the minimum educational qualifications? 

Yes. Order No. 17-1/2022-SPG-II dated 27.09.2022 clarifies that a widow may be appointed as an MTS on compassionate grounds even if she does not meet the standard minimum educational requirements for the post.
