238. Daily Rules Recap - Department of Posts proposes to use the mobile phones of PAs for IPPB operations
• Delhi Circle ordered the Postal Assistants for opening of IPPB accounts and other transactions using their own mobile phones.
• The reason for such decision was stated to be the shortage of staff in postmen cadre.
• IPPB have successfully tested IPPB transactions by co ter PA on boarded in AMS as MATM End users through BYOD.
• This has been approved by the Dept of Posts and directed to encourage the PAs to get themselves onboarded as MATM End users under BYOD for IPPB transactions.
