69. Rules Digest - Posting of Office Assistants to BD & Marketing Directorate
• The BD & Marketing Directorate is now authorized to issue transfer/posting orders for Postal/Sorting Assistants from various Circles to fill its sanctioned staff strength of Office Assistants.
• The BD & Marketing Directorate will maintain a request register.
• Requests from Postal/Sorting Assistants must be submitted through proper channels and will be considered based on vacancy availability.
• During their posting period, Postal/Sorting Assistants will draw their pay and allowances against the sanctioned strength of the Business Development and Marketing Directorate.
• The initial posting tenure will be three years. This period can be curtailed if an official's work is deemed unsatisfactory.
• This Office Memorandum (OM) should be circulated down to the Divisional and Post Offices/RMS Offices to allow eligible personnel to register their requests for posting to the BD & Marketing Directorate as Office Assistants.
Posting of Office Assistant to BD & Marketing Directorate
The Competent authority has accorded approval authorizing BD & Marketing Directorate to issue the transfer /posting orders in respect of Postal/Sorting Assistant from Circles against its sanctioned staff strength of Office Assistants.
2. BD & Marketing Directorate will maintain request register, wherein the requests received from Postal/Sorting Assistants, through proper channel, will be entered and considered depending on vacancies. During the period of posting, Postal/Sorting Assistants will draw pay and allowances against the sanctioned strength of Business Development and Marketing Directorate. The period of tenure will be initially for three years and could be curtailed in case of unsatisfactory work.
3. This OM may be circulated down to the level of Divisional and Post Offices/RMS Offices enabling them to register their requests for posting to BD & Marketing Directorate against the post of Office Assistants.
