227. Daily Rules Recap - Parliament replies on cashless treatment for the CGHS Patients
• For the unstarred question No 1930, about cashless treatment for CGHS patients, the reply was furnished in the parliament on 2.8.2024.
• As per the MoU signed by CGHS & empanelled hospitals, the pensioners can avail cashless health service. If any issue in availing cashless treatment by the pensioners they can submit their grievances through email, PG Portal, AD CGHS etc.
• For expedite payment of bills to hospitals, in the month of Sept 2023 all CMO in charges are made as sanctioning authorities (346). This will curtail the delay from 5 to 6 months to 20-25 days.
• A committee was constituted for the revision of CGHS package rates.
• HCOs are directed to attend regularly held Zonal Advisory Committee meeting to discuss and resolve the outstanding issues
