377. An official under suspension can write departmental examination
A government servant under suspension can appear in the departmental examination, but, if he passes, promotion will not be given effect to until the completion of disciplinary proceedings.

378. One can exercise option but effect will be made after revocation of suspension
If the crucial date falls during suspension period, the government servant may exercise option for the revised scale but benefits will be available only from the date of reinstatement.

379. Any over payment should also not be recovered at a rate higher than 1/3" of the subsistence allowance.

380. Change of headquarters during suspension
Head quarters of the suspended government servant will be normally the last place of duty but the competent authority may fix some other station as Head quarter in public interest. it may also be changed at the request of the government servant.
