216. Is there any religion condition is applicable for SC candidates?
Yes. A member of scheduled caste should profess Hindu or Sikh or Buddhist religion. No member belonging to other religions can be deemed to be a scheduled caste.

217. Whether exchange of reservation between SCs/STs is allowed?
No. After the introduction of Post based reservation, it is not permissible to fill up a post reserved for ST by an SC candidate or vice versa by exchange of reservation between SCs and STs.

218. If the caste belongs to an official is descheduled after his appointment, whether he can avail the benefit of reservation?
No, He is no longer entitled to enjoy the benefit of reservation in promotion if the caste he belongs is descheduled.
219. What is the penal action prescribed in rules in case of production of false community certificate is proved?
If the verification reveals that the claim belong to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled tribe, as the case may be is false, the services will be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code for production of false certificate."

216. SC வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு ஏதேனும் மத நிபந்தனை பொருந்துமா?
ஆம். பட்டியல் சாதி உறுப்பினர் இந்து, சீக்கிய அல்லது பௌத்த மதத்தை பின்பற்ற வேண்டும். மற்ற மதங்களைச் சேர்ந்த எந்த உறுப்பினரும் பட்டியல் சாதியாக கருதப்பட முடியாது.

217. SC/ST களுக்கு இடையே இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை பரிமாற்றம் செய்ய அனுமதிக்கப்படுமா?
இல்லை. பதவி அடிப்படையிலான இட ஒதுக்கீடு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பிறகு, ST க்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட பதவியை SC வேட்பாளரால் நிரப்புவது அல்லது SC க்கும் ST க்கும் இடையே இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை பரிமாற்றம் செய்வது அனுமதிக்கப்படாது.

218. ஒரு அதிகாரியின் சாதி அவரது நியமனத்திற்குப் பிறகு பட்டியல் நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டால், அவர் இட ஒதுக்கீட்டின் பலனைப் பெற முடியுமா?
இல்லை. அவரது சாதி பட்டியல் நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டால், பதவி உயர்வுக்கான இட ஒதுக்கீட்டின் பலனை அனுபவிக்க அவருக்கு இனி உரிமை இல்லை.
219. தவறான சமூக சான்றிதழ் தயாரித்தது நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டால், விதிகளில் பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட தண்டனை நடவடிக்கை என்ன?
சரிபார்ப்பில் பட்டியல் சாதி மற்றும் பட்டியல் பழங்குடியினர் கோரிக்கை தவறானது என்று தெரியவந்தால், இந்திய தண்டனைச் சட்டத்தின் விதிகளின் கீழ் எடுக்கப்படக்கூடிய மேலும் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு பாரபட்சமின்றி, வேறு எந்த காரணமும் கூறாமல் சேவைகள் உடனடியாக நிறுத்தப்படும்.
