241. Manuscripts of work or for newspaper, musical scores or sheets of music in manuscript may be sent as printed papers through Book packet for international countries. (34)
242. Packet of regd newspaper will not be forwarded if it breached the conditions but will be returned to sender. Sender will be required to pay double deficiency of the internal Postage. If the sender wishes to repost the article after complying with necessary conditions, he may do so by paying fresh postage in full on the article. (41)
243. Application for bulk bag system under foreign post should be made to the Head of the circle. (43)
244. Special bags of printed newspaper to / from address / sender in foreign countries except Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan may be sent. (43)
245. Bulk bag may be sent either as unregistered or registered. The sender of such bags will deposit the amount in cash or POSB Certificate pledged to Head of the circle.
246. A small packet should not excess 1 kg in weight. Small packets exceeding 500 grms is subject to a delivery fee payable by the addressee at the time of delivery. (44-48)
247. Small packet not conforming to the conditions will be returned to the sender and will be charged at double the deficiency for a rare applicable in the inland post. (49)
248. The fee for a blind literature packet to be air lifted to a foreign county is air surcharge as applicable to printed paper. (55)
249. The term L.C. in Foreign Post means 'Letters and cards'. (57)
250. The term A.O in Foreign Post manual means ' Administrative office of Foreign country. (57)
251. In the foreign post the purpose of fixing surcharge and combined charges all the countries and territories are divided into six groups.
252. The aerogramme for the foreign countries is a category intended for transmission exclusivily by air and the corresponding category of Inland Post is – Inland letter card. (58)
253. The min and Max size permissible for folded aerogramme is 90 x 140 of 110 x 120 cms respectively. (58)
254. An aerogramme should not weigh more than 3 grams. (58)
255. In case of insufficiently paid airmail articles like letters, cards and aerogramme, if the postage is paid at least 75 % of the surcharge (letter) or combined charges (PC & aerogramme) will be forwarded with taxation of double deficiency at the time of delivery. (60)
256. In case of postage paid less than 75 % of the surcharges or combined charge the article will be despatched through surface. (60)
257. Compensation of letter and bulk bags of foreign articles are 110 (60 gold francs) of 1110 (300 gold francs) respectively. (71)
258. If an unpaid or under paid registered article under foreign post is tendered at the counter, it can be registered with a note that the deficiency would be collected from addressee. (66)
259.. No liability is accepted for the loss of registered articles in the following cases.
i. In the circumstances beyond the control.
ii. When disposal of article cannot be traced due to distraction of records in circumstances beyond control.
iii. If the item contained anything which is prohibited from transmission by post.
iv. If the sender has not made complaint within one year. (71)
260. The limit adopted in India for booking of air Insured letter is 10,000. (77)
241. வேலைக்கான கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் அல்லது செய்தித்தாள், இசைப் புள்ளிகள் அல்லது கையெழுத்து இசைத் தாள்கள் சர்வதேச நாடுகளுக்கு புத்தகப் பொட்டலம் மூலம் அச்சிடப்பட்ட தாள்களாக அனுப்பப்படலாம். (34)
242. பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள் பொட்டலம் நிபந்தனைகளை மீறினால் அனுப்பப்படாது, ஆனால் அனுப்புநருக்கு திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும். உள்நாட்டு தபால் கட்டணத்தின் இரட்டை குறைபாட்டை அனுப்புநர் செலுத்த வேண்டியிருக்கும். தேவையான நிபந்தனைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்த பிறகு கட்டுரையை மீண்டும் அனுப்ப அனுப்புநர் விரும்பினால், அவர் கட்டுரைக்கு முழு தபால் கட்டணத்தையும் புதிதாக செலுத்தி அவ்வாறு செய்யலாம். 243. வெளிநாட்டு தபால் கீழ் மொத்த பை அமைப்புக்கான விண்ணப்பம் வட்டத்தின் தலைவருக்கு அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும். (43)
244. இலங்கை, நேபாளம், பூட்டான் மற்றும் பாகிஸ்தான் தவிர வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ள முகவரி / அனுப்புநரிடமிருந்து / க்கு அச்சிடப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள்களின் சிறப்பு பைகள் அனுப்பப்படலாம். (43)
245. மொத்த பை பதிவு செய்யப்படாததாகவோ அல்லது பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டதாகவோ அனுப்பப்படலாம். இத்தகைய பைகளை அனுப்புபவர் வட்டத்தின் தலைவருக்கு அடமானம் வைக்கப்பட்ட ரொக்கம் அல்லது POSB சான்றிதழை டெபாசிட் செய்வார்.
246. ஒரு சிறிய பொட்டலம் 1 கிலோவுக்கு மேல் எடையுள்ளதாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. 500 கிராமுக்கு அதிகமான சிறிய பொட்டலங்களுக்கு டெலிவரி நேரத்தில் முகவரிதாரர் டெலிவரி கட்டணம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். (44-48)
247. நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு இணங்காத சிறிய பொட்டலம் அனுப்புநருக்கு திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும் மற்றும் உள்நாட்டு தபாலில் அரிதாக பொருந்தக்கூடிய இரட்டை குறைபாட்டிற்கான கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும். (49)
248. பார்வையற்றோர் இலக்கிய பொட்டலம் வெளிநாட்டிற்கு விமானம் மூலம் கொண்டு செல்லப்படுவதற்கான கட்டணம் அச்சிடப்பட்ட தாளுக்கு பொருந்தும் விமானக் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் ஆகும். (55)
249. வெளிநாட்டு தபாலில் L.C. என்பதன் பொருள் 'கடிதங்கள் மற்றும் அட்டைகள்' (Letters and cards). (57)
250. வெளிநாட்டு தபால் கையேட்டில் A.O என்பதன் பொருள் 'வெளிநாட்டின் நிர்வாக அலுவலகம்' (Administrative office of Foreign country). (57)
251. வெளிநாட்டு தபாலில் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைந்த கட்டணங்களை நிர்ணயிக்கும் நோக்கத்திற்காக அனைத்து நாடுகளும் பிரதேசங்களும் ஆறு குழுக்களாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
252. வெளிநாடுகளுக்கான ஏரோகிராம் விமானம் மூலம் மட்டுமே அனுப்பும் நோக்கத்திற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு வகை, மேலும் உள்நாட்டு தபாலில் அதற்கு இணையான வகை - உள்நாட்டு கடித அட்டை. (58)
253. மடிக்கப்பட்ட ஏரோகிராமிற்கான குறைந்தபட்ச மற்றும் அதிகபட்ச அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட அளவு முறையே 90 x 140 மற்றும் 110 x 120 மிமீ. (58)
254. ஒரு ஏரோகிராம் 3 கிராமுக்கு மேல் எடையுள்ளதாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. (58)
255. கடிதங்கள், அட்டைகள் மற்றும் ஏரோகிராம் போன்ற போதுமான கட்டணம் செலுத்தப்படாத விமான அஞ்சல் கட்டுரைகளுக்கு, தபால் கட்டணம் கூடுதல் கட்டணத்தில் (கடிதம்) அல்லது ஒருங்கிணைந்த கட்டணத்தில் (PC & ஏரோகிராம்) குறைந்தது 75% செலுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தால், டெலிவரி நேரத்தில் இரட்டை குறைபாட்டுடன் அனுப்பப்படும். (60)
256. கூடுதல் கட்டணம் அல்லது ஒருங்கிணைந்த கட்டணத்தில் 75% க்கும் குறைவான தபால் கட்டணம் செலுத்தப்பட்டால், கட்டுரை மேற்பரப்பு வழியாக அனுப்பப்படும். (60)
257. வெளிநாட்டு கட்டுரைகளின் கடிதம் மற்றும் மொத்த பைகளுக்கான இழப்பீடு முறையே 110 (60 தங்க பிராங்குகள்) மற்றும் 1110 (300 தங்க பிராங்குகள்). (71)
258. வெளிநாட்டு தபாலில் செலுத்தப்படாத அல்லது குறைவான கட்டணம் செலுத்தப்பட்ட பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரை கவுண்டரில் டெண்டர் செய்யப்பட்டால், குறைபாடு முகவரிதாரரிடமிருந்து வசூலிக்கப்படும் என்ற குறிப்புடன் பதிவு செய்யலாம். (66)
259. பின்வரும் சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகள் தொலைந்து போனால் எந்தப் பொறுப்பும் ஏற்கப்படாது: i. கட்டுப்பாட்டை மீறிய சூழ்நிலைகளில். ii. கட்டுப்பாட்டை மீறிய சூழ்நிலைகளில் பதிவுகள் அழிக்கப்பட்டதால் கட்டுரையின் அகற்றலைக் கண்டறிய முடியாதபோது. iii. தபால் மூலம் அனுப்புவதற்கு தடைசெய்யப்பட்ட எதையும் பொருள் கொண்டிருந்தால். iv. அனுப்புநர் ஒரு வருடத்திற்குள் புகார் அளிக்கவில்லை என்றால். 260. விமான காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்ட கடிதம் முன்பதிவு செய்வதற்கு இந்தியாவில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட வரம்பு 10,000. (77)
