233. Surface mail received for delivery in India from a country may be redirected by the surface mail to any country on payment if despatched to its new destination. (19)
234. It the above charge has not been paid before redirection, it will be treated as insufficiently paid and tax equal to difference in postage (not double) to be collected at the time of delivery. (19)

219. "UPU" என்பதன் விரிவாக்கம் உலகளாவிய அஞ்சல் ஒன்றியம் (Universal Postal Union). 
220. ஆசிய-ஓசியானிக் அஞ்சல் ஒன்றியத்தின் தலைமையகம் மணிலாவில் (பிலிப்பைன்ஸ்) உள்ளது.

229. 'போஸ்டல் ரெஸ்டாண்டே' என்று முகவரியிடப்பட்ட விபி தவிர மற்ற கட்டுரைகள் டெலிவரி தபால் நிலையத்தில் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு மிகாத காலத்திற்கு நிறுத்தி வைக்கப்படும். (18) 
230. எந்த நாட்டிலிருந்தும் பெறப்பட்ட மேற்பரப்பு அஞ்சல் பொருட்கள் இந்தியாவில் விமானம் மூலம் இலவசமாக திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும். (19) 
231. முதல் வகுப்பு அஞ்சல் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் அல்லது கூடுதல் கட்டணம் இல்லாதவை இந்தியாவில் விமானம் மூலம் இலவசமாக திருப்பி அனுப்ப தகுதியுடையவை. (19) 
232. இந்தியாவில் டெலிவரி செய்ய எந்த நாட்டிலிருந்தும் பெறப்பட்ட மேற்பரப்பு அஞ்சல், இந்தியாவுக்கு குறைக்கப்பட்ட கட்டணத்தை விதிக்காத நாடு, எந்த கட்டணமும் இல்லாமல் மேற்பரப்பு அஞ்சல் மூலம் மற்றொரு நாட்டிற்கு திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படலாம். (19) 
233. இந்தியாவில் டெலிவரி செய்ய ஒரு நாட்டிலிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட மேற்பரப்பு அஞ்சல், புதிய இலக்குக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டால் கட்டணம் செலுத்தி எந்த நாட்டிற்கும் மேற்பரப்பு அஞ்சல் மூலம் திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படலாம். (19) 
234. திருப்பி அனுப்புவதற்கு முன் மேற்கூறிய கட்டணம் செலுத்தப்படாவிட்டால், அது போதுமான கட்டணம் செலுத்தப்படாததாகக் கருதப்பட்டு, டெலிவரி நேரத்தில் தபால் கட்டண வித்தியாசத்திற்கு சமமான வரி (இரட்டை அல்ல) வசூலிக்கப்படும். (19) 
235. அதிகாரப்பூர்வ தபால் பொருட்கள் தொடர்பான விதிகள் தனியார் கடிதப் போக்குவரத்து தொடர்பான விதிகளுக்குப் பொருந்தும் அதே விதிகள் ஆகும். (21) 
236. வெளிச்செல்லும் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ வெளிநாட்டு அஞ்சலுக்கு முன்கூட்டியே செலுத்த சேவை முத்திரைகளை பயன்படுத்தலாம், ஆனால் அரசு அதிகாரிகளுக்கு முகவரியிடப்பட்ட உள்வரும் வெளிநாட்டு அஞ்சலுக்கான நிலுவைத் தொகையை சேவை முத்திரைகள் மூலம் செலுத்த முடியாது. (21) 
237. இந்தியாவுக்கு வெளியே பணியாற்றும் இந்திய ஆயுதப் படைகளின் பணியாளர்களுக்கான கடிதப் போக்குவரத்து இந்திய இராணுவ தபால் அலுவலகத்திற்கு முகவரியிடப்பட்டால் அனைத்து நோக்கங்களுக்காகவும் இந்திய கட்டுரைக்குரிய கட்டணத்தில் முன்கூட்டியே செலுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். (22) 
238. விமான அஞ்சல் கடிதத்தின் அதிகபட்ச எடை 2 கிலோவுக்கு மிகாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும். (26) 
239. போஸ்ட் கார்டுகளின் பரிமாணங்கள் அதிகபட்சம் 105 x 149 மிமீ; குறைந்தபட்சம் 90 x 140 மிமீ. (30) 
240. வெளிநாட்டு தபாலில் அச்சிடப்பட்ட காகித சேவைகளுக்கு இணையான உள்நாட்டு தபால் சேவை "புத்தகப் பொட்டல சேவை" ஆகும். (34a)
