201. Small and large size of greeting post rate is Rs. 14/- per card inclusive of Rs. 5/- Postage, Rs. 17/-per card inclusive of postage Rs. 5/- respectively.
202. Small and large size of greeting post is 10 x 5 cm x 16.5 cm and 12 cm x 18.5 cm respectively.
203. FTL and LTL means : Full Truck load & Less than truck load.
204. Minimum copies and maximum size to be accepted in Direct post is 1000 & A3 size respectively.
205. PRS means 'PassengerReservation System'.
206. India Post Gold Coin denomination is 0.58g,1g. 5g, 8g of 24 carot (99.99% pure)
207. The Flat Rate Parcel boxes are available in 3 types.
208. Flat rate parcel price are 1kg, 2 kg, & 5 kgs are Rs. 125, Rs. 200 & Rs. 400 /- respectively.
209. International parcel box rate is, Rs. 1000, Rs. 1500 & Rs. 2500/-
210. International register / article compensation is 30 SDR. ( Special Drawing Rights)
211. International parcel article compensation – is 40 SDR.
212. e-IOD (e-intimation of delivery) services is available for customers of Bulk customers registering themselves for the services.
213. The Indian Post office is exempted by law from all responsibility in case of loss, mis-delivery or delay of registered article in course of transmission by post.
214. The rate of inland postage may be fixed by the Central Govt by notification in official Gazette.
215. Differences between undeliverable articles & undelivered articles.
I. Undeliverable article
i. Illegible or incomplete address
ii. Wrappers get detached.
iii. Address not known or left without intimation.
iv. Not found during delivery time.
II. undelivered articles
i. Refused by the addressee.
ii. Not taken delivery after due notice.
iii. Deceased & could not be delivered to others. (74)
216. Complaints should be preferred within the time limits.
i. M.O. V.P. – 12 months from the date of issue.
ii. Insured article – 3 months from the date of posting.
iii. Inland post – 6 months from the date of incident.
iv. Postal orders – 12 months from the last of the month of issue.
v. Speed Post – 1 month (77 & 81)
217. For regd newspapers, the postage bill will be presented to the licensee on 16th & 1st of every month. Payment should be made within 7 days. In the event of non payment of bill within a fortnight, the posting of the paper without prepayment of postage will be stopped and the licence is deemed to be cancelled. (144)

204. டைரக்ட் போஸ்டில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட வேண்டிய குறைந்தபட்ச பிரதிகள் மற்றும் அதிகபட்ச அளவு முறையே 1000 மற்றும் A3 அளவு.
205. PRS என்றால் 'பயணிகள் முன்பதிவு அமைப்பு' (Passenger Reservation System).
206. இந்தியா போஸ்ட் தங்க நாணயத்தின் மதிப்பு 0.58 கிராம், 1 கிராம், 5 கிராம், 8 கிராம் 24 காரட் (99.99% தூய்மையானது).
207. நிலையான கட்டண பார்சல் பெட்டிகள் 3 வகைகளில் கிடைக்கின்றன.
208. நிலையான கட்டண பார்சல் விலை 1 கிலோ, 2 கிலோ & 5 கிலோ முறையே ரூ. 125, ரூ. 200 & ரூ. 400/-.
209. சர்வதேச பார்சல் பெட்டி கட்டணம் ரூ. 1000, ரூ. 1500 & ரூ. 2500/-.
210. சர்வதேச பதிவு / கட்டுரைக்கான இழப்பீடு 30 SDR (சிறப்பு வரைதல் உரிமைகள்).
211. சர்வதேச பார்சல் கட்டுரைக்கான இழப்பீடு - 40 SDR.
212. மொத்த வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் தங்களை இந்த சேவைகளுக்கு பதிவு செய்துகொண்டால் e-IOD (டெலிவரியின் மின்னணு தகவல்) சேவைகள் கிடைக்கும்.
213. தபால் மூலம் அனுப்பும் போது பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரை தொலைந்து போனால், தவறாக டெலிவரி செய்யப்பட்டால் அல்லது தாமதமானால் இந்திய தபால் அலுவலகம் சட்டப்படி எந்தப் பொறுப்பிலிருந்தும் விலக்கு அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.
214. உள்நாட்டு தபால் கட்டண விகிதத்தை மத்திய அரசு அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அரசிதழில் அறிவிப்பதன் மூலம் நிர்ணயிக்கலாம்.
215. டெலிவரி செய்ய முடியாத கட்டுரைகள் மற்றும் டெலிவரி செய்யப்படாத கட்டுரைகளுக்கு இடையிலான வேறுபாடுகள்: I. டெலிவரி செய்ய முடியாத கட்டுரை: i. படிக்க முடியாத அல்லது முழுமையற்ற முகவரி. ii. உறைகள் கழன்று விடுதல். iii. முகவரி தெரியாதது அல்லது தகவல் தெரிவிக்காமல் சென்றுவிட்டது. iv. டெலிவரி நேரத்தில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்படவில்லை. II. டெலிவரி செய்யப்படாத கட்டுரைகள்: i. முகவரிதாரரால் மறுக்கப்பட்டது. ii. உரிய அறிவிப்புக்குப் பிறகும் டெலிவரி எடுக்கப்படவில்லை. iii. இறந்தவர் & மற்றவர்களுக்கு டெலிவரி செய்ய முடியவில்லை. (74)
216. புகார்கள் காலக்கெடுவுக்குள் தெரிவிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்: i. எம்.ஓ. வி.பி. - வழங்கப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்து 12 மாதங்கள். ii. காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரை - அனுப்பிய நாளிலிருந்து 3 மாதங்கள். iii. உள்நாட்டு தபால் - சம்பவம் நடந்த நாளிலிருந்து 6 மாதங்கள். iv. தபால் ஆணைகள் - வழங்கப்பட்ட மாதத்தின் கடைசி நாளிலிருந்து 12 மாதங்கள். v. ஸ்பீட் போஸ்ட் - 1 மாதம் (77 & 81).
217. பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள்களுக்கு, தபால் கட்டண பில் ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் 16 மற்றும் 1 ஆம் தேதிகளில் உரிமதாரருக்கு வழங்கப்படும். கட்டணம் 7 நாட்களுக்குள் செலுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். பதினைந்து நாட்களுக்குள் பில் செலுத்தத் தவறினால், தபால் கட்டணம் முன்கூட்டியே செலுத்தாமல் செய்தித்தாள் அனுப்புவது நிறுத்தப்படும் மற்றும் உரிமம் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டதாகக் கருதப்படும்.
