 Clarification on the grant of daily allowance to the trainees deputed to training centres
The Directorate General (Personnel) has issued a clarification regarding the grant of daily allowance to officials deputed to postal training centers. According to the Office Memorandum dated 4.5.2023, which refers to an earlier OM dated 9.11.2017, up to a maximum of 80% of the food bill rates is to be charged from the officials undergoing training. 

The remaining 20% or more of the approved rate is intended to cover incidentals and should be borne by the officials themselves. 

Consequently, the clarification emphasizes that the full food bill per day, as per their entitlement, should be paid to the officials. 

This ensures that trainees are adequately compensated for their daily food expenses during their training period. This clarification is provided in DG (P) No. 01-24/2017-Trg dated 4.5.2023.

தபால் பயிற்சி மையங்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்படும் பயிற்சி பெறுபவர்களுக்கு தினப்படி கொடுப்பனவு வழங்குவது தொடர்பான தெளிவுபடுத்தலை இயக்குநர் ஜெனரல் (பர்சனல்) வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 4.5.2023 தேதியிட்ட அலுவலக குறிப்பின்படி, 9.11.2017 தேதியிட்ட முந்தைய அலுவலக குறிப்பைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறது, உணவு கட்டண விகிதங்களில் அதிகபட்சமாக 80% வரை பயிற்சி பெறும் அதிகாரிகளிடம் வசூலிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். 

அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட விகிதத்தில் மீதமுள்ள 20% அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்டவை தற்செயலான செலவுகளை ஈடுசெய்யும் நோக்கம் கொண்டது மற்றும் அதிகாரிகளே ஏற்க வேண்டும். 

இதன் விளைவாக, அவர்களின் உரிமைக்கு ஏற்ப ஒரு நாளுக்கான முழு உணவு கட்டணமும் அதிகாரிகளுக்கு செலுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தல் வலியுறுத்துகிறது. 

இது பயிற்சி காலத்தில் அவர்களின் தினசரி உணவு செலவுகளுக்கு பயிற்சி பெறுபவர்களுக்கு போதுமான இழப்பீடு வழங்கப்படுவதை உறுதி செய்கிறது. இந்த தெளிவுபடுத்தல் DG (P) No. 01-24/2017-Trg தேதி 4.5.2023 இல் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
