As far as possible, husband and wife should be posted at the same station
Para xvi of transfer guidelines dated 17.01.2019 envisages that spirit of DOPT OM No. 28034/9/2009-Estt(A) dated 30.09.2009 should be taken into account
DOPT OM envisages that “when both spouses are in same Central Service or working in same Deptt. and if posts are available, they may mandatorily be posted at the same station.”
