What decision was taken by the Competent Authority regarding the status quo on filling up the posts of Higher Selection Grade-I Non-Functional Grade [HSG-I (NFG)] that was previously imposed via the Directorate's letter dated 24.06.2019?
The Competent Authority decided to completely lift the status quo that had been previously imposed on filling up the posts of HSG-I (NFG). This decision followed a temporary redeployment of forty (40) HSG-I (NFG) posts from twelve (12) circles to three (3) deficient circles by the Establishment Division to accommodate senior HSG-I officials whose juniors had already been appointed. Consequently, all Heads of Circles have been instructed and advised to start the process of convening Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings for selections to the HSG-I (NFG) posts according to the revised sanctioned strength.
