No, because no fresh pay fixation or increment is allowed upon promotion to an identical Grade Pay, the original date of their annual increment remains completely unaffected.

127. What is the pay fixation protocol when an employee receives a 2nd MACP upgrade while they are drawing a personal pay scale?
The 3% increment is calculated strictly on their basic pay (Pay in Pay Band + Grade Pay); any personal pay element is excluded from this computation and added separately after fixation if protected by rules.

128. If an employee's pay after a 3% MACPS increment results in a fraction paise, how is it rounded off?
Any fraction of a rupee is rounded off to the next higher rupee in the final pay structure.
