61. Is it mandatory to associate members of the SC/ST communities in the Screening Committee meant for MACPS?
No, because reservation rules do not apply to the financial upgradation under this scheme, it is not mandatory to associate SC/ST members in the Screening Committee.

62. Does a financial upgradation under MACPS affect or alter the seniority position of an employee within their cadre?
No, financial upgradation under MACPS is purely personal to the employee and has absolutely no relevance to their seniority position.

63. Is the pay drawn under MACPS valid for determining terminal/retirement benefits for a retiring employee?
Yes, the pay drawn in the pay band and grade pay allowed under the MACPS shall be taken as the legal basis for determining terminal benefits.

64. If a Group "A" employee was never covered under old ACPS and completes 30 years of regular service, how is their pay fixed under MACPS?
Their pay shall be fixed successively in the next three immediate higher grade pays in the hierarchy of revised pay bands, allowing a 3% pay fixation at every stage.

65. If an employee is declared surplus and appointed to an equal or lower pay scale in a new organization, does their previous service count?
Yes, the regular service rendered by them in the previous organization shall be fully counted towards regular service in the new organization for MACPS.
