Rules, Rights & Rites -98 Submission of the Annual Immovable Property Return (AIPR) for the year

 Rules, Rights & Rites -98

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).

However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

Submission of the Annual Immovable Property Return (AIPR) for the year

Every Government servant is required to submit an Annual Report detailing all immovable property that is inherited, owned, or acquired. This includes property held in their own name, in the name of a family member, or in the name of any other person.

Failure to submit property returns within the deadline will result in the denial of Vigilance Clearance. Furthermore, such officers will not be considered for promotion or empanelment to senior-level posts.

The AIPRs for All India Service and other Group ‘A’ Central Service officers must be placed in the public domain by January 31st each year.

Group ‘A’ officers must submit their AIPRs for the year 2025 (as of January 1, 2026) no later than January 31, 2026.

Returns must be filed exclusively through the IPR Module of the SPARROW Portal.

The SPARROW portal module will be disabled after January 31, 2026. No requests for late submissions will be entertained after this date.

Officers are encouraged to upload relevant reference documents, such as acquisition or disposal permissions, alongside their AIPR for future record.
