 Rules, Rights & Rites -113

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).

However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

Mandatory courses and comprehensive assessments on the iGOT portal:

All Central Government employees of the Department of Posts, except Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) and contractual staff, are required to participate.

The Department has identified six mandatory courses (covering Behavioural, Functional, and Domain competencies) assigned based on the employee's designation and group .

Employees must complete at least 50% of these prescribed courses by March 31, 2026.

Successful completion of the mandatory courses is a prerequisite for attempting the Comprehensive Assessment.

Employees must successfully pass the Comprehensive Assessment for three identified courses specific to their role.

The minimum qualifying marks for assessments are 50%, with no negative marking and a maximum of 10 attempts allowed.

Completion status for both courses and assessments will be automatically fetched from the iGOT platform and reflected in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) for 2025-26.

Any non-reflection of completion in the APAR due to incorrect profile details is the sole responsibility of the employee.

Courses and assessments are only accessible to "verified users." Employees must ensure their Group and Designation are correctly updated on their iGOT profile.

Users must not be mapped under the "Department of Posts" (L1/Parent MDO). They must transfer their profiles to their respective Circles, PTCs, or other specific MDOs.

Circles are requested to ensure users meet the following internal deadlines :

o February 15, 2026: Complete at least one APAR course.

o March 1, 2026: Complete three APAR courses.

o March 31, 2026: Complete all six courses and Comprehensive Assessments.

Employees are encouraged to use the iGOT Karmayogi mobile application (available for iOS and Android) for convenient course completion.
