The crucial date for determining the eligibility of candidates (age limits, length of service, etc.) for the vacancy year 2023 is uniformly fixed as 01.01.2023.
The vacancies covered under this recruitment cycle comprise those arising during the regular calendar year from 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023.
The examination is conducted without the aid of books and typically consists of the following structure:
Paper-I (Competitive): Divided into two parts containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on Postal Operations/Manuals, General Awareness, and Basic Arithmetic.
Paper-II (Qualifying): Translation of words/sentences from English to local language and vice versa, along with a short essay or letter in the local language.
Paper-III (Qualifying Data Entry Test): A computer skill test to assess data entry speed and accuracy on a computer terminal.
