One Day, One Minute, One Rule – 272
1: Can a candidate who was "Not Recommended" in a previous Circle Relaxation Committee (CRC) meeting be considered again?
Yes, the CRC may examine such cases based on the individual merit of the case. However, the committee must take into account FAQs No. 32, 38, 39, and 40 circulated via DoPT OM No. 14014/02/2012-Estt (D) dated 30.05.2013 when making a decision on consideration or reconsideration.
2: If an applicant cannot be recommended for a PA/SA post due to lack of vacancies, can they be considered for other posts?
Yes, a request for compassionate appointment can be considered for any Group-C post, which includes the post of MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff).
3: How are cases handled that were recommended for "consideration by the next CRC" prior to the introduction of the revised RMPS?
Cases that a previous CRC recommended for future consideration will be evaluated based on the Revised RMPS if the next CRC meeting is held on or after 01.10.2020. It is specifically noted that "closed cases" (those rejected for not fulfilling criteria) will not be reopened.
4: What is the official distinction between a "Rejected" case and a "Not Recommended" case?
The Department clarifies that there is a significant difference between the two terms:
• Rejected cases: These are cases that do not deserve any consideration.
• Not Recommended cases: These are cases that could not be recommended solely due to the limitation of vacancies (specifically the 5% direct recruitment quota).
