One Day, One Minute, One Rule – 269

How often must the Circle Relaxation Committee (CRC) meet to consider compassionate appointment cases, and what is the specific timeline for reviewing applications?

To ensure uniformity and timely processing across all Circles, the Competent Authority decided that the Circle Relaxation Committee will meet once in a financial year. All "matured cases" that are received by the Circle Office from various Units or Divisions by the 31st of March of a given financial year must be considered in a CRC meeting held between April and June of the following financial year. This shift to an annual meeting structure aligns with the fact that direct recruitment vacancies and the corresponding 5% quota for compassionate appointments are calculated on a yearly basis.
