What clarifications were issued regarding the applicability of orders concerning Post Attached Quarters?
As per the clarification issued in letter No. BDG-20/8/2021-Building-DOP dated 22.09.2022, the Department of Posts confirmed that the orders originally contained in letter No. BDG-20/08/2021-Buildings-DOP dated 18/22.07.2022 are applicable to all departmental buildings, as well as rented and rent-free buildings. The Directorate further clarified that these orders apply to all categories of Postmasters, including Sub Postmasters and Senior Postmasters, and must be implemented by Circles effective from 01.08.2022.
