Uniform Weightage for Night Duty
How is the duration of night duty calculated for the purpose of granting Night Duty Allowance?
For every hour of night duty performed between 22:00 hours and 6:00 hours, a uniform weightage of 10 minutes is granted. The amount of NDA is worked out separately for each employee, depending specifically upon the basic pay the concerned employee is drawing on the actual date they perform the night duty. These calculation methods are stipulated under OM No: A-27018/02/2022-Estt. (AL) dated 02.09.2022.
