23. According to the order F. No. 08-01/2019-SPN-I dated 06.05.2020, what is the syllabus and pattern for the Trade Test/Driving Test for the post of Staff Car Driver?
The Trade Test/Driving Test for the post of Staff Car Driver will be a practical test consisting of two papers:
• Paper-I (Knowledge of Motor Mechanism and Traffic Rules): This paper will have a maximum of 30 marks. It will test the candidate's knowledge of motor mechanics, their ability to rectify minor defects in a vehicle, and their knowledge of traffic rules, signals, and regulations. A candidate must score a minimum of 15 marks to pass.
• Paper-II (Driving Test): This paper will have a maximum of 70 marks. It will assess the candidate's practical driving skills on a designated road or ground. A candidate must score a minimum of 35 marks to pass.
The total marks for the test are 100, and a candidate must secure a total of at least 50 marks to be considered for appointment
