214. Daily Rules Recap - Filling up of vacancies of MTS/Postman for 2024 vacancy year
• For Postman examination, One year relaxation in the service eligibility condition for the vacancy year 2024 was issued vide DG Orders dated 12.6.2024.
• As per this order, MTS with 2 years service as on 1,1,2024 shall be eligible.
• GDS with 4 years can appear the postman exam.
• For MTS examination, GDS with 2 years of service shall be eligible.
• Now clarification was sought whether relaxation of one year will be applicable in case of MTS with combined services of GDS
• Relaxation is granted as per the orders issued on 12.6.2024
• To remove the ambiguity last date of receipt of exam may be extended by one more week.
