 Whether Children Education Allowance be granted to those Divyang children not attending school?

According to DOPT OM No. A-27012/01/2022_Estt(AL) dated 17.2.2023, the Children Education Allowance (CEA) has been extended to Divyang (differently abled) children who are unable to attend school physically, as previously established by the OM dated 17.7.2018. 

For Divyang children who cannot attend school physically and are receiving education at home, the rate of CEA is double the normal rate. 

To avail this allowance, the parent or guardian must provide a payment receipt to the teacher or instructor and submit a self-certification confirming that the child is receiving education at their residence. 

This provision is effective from 17.2.2023.

DOPT OM எண். A-27012/01/2022_Estt(AL) தேதி 17.2.2023 இன் படி, உடல் ரீதியாக பள்ளிக்குச் செல்ல முடியாத திவ்யாங் (மாற்றுத்திறனாளி) குழந்தைகளுக்கு குழந்தைகள் கல்வி உதவித்தொகை (CEA) நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, இது முன்பு OM தேதி 17.7.2018 மூலம் நிறுவப்பட்டது. 

உடல் ரீதியாக பள்ளிக்குச் செல்ல முடியாத மற்றும் வீட்டில் கல்வி பெறும் திவ்யாங் குழந்தைகளுக்கு, CEA விகிதம் சாதாரண விகிதத்தை விட இரண்டு மடங்கு அதிகமாகும். இந்த உதவித்தொகையைப் பெற, பெற்றோர் அல்லது பாதுகாவலர் ஆசிரியர் அல்லது பயிற்றுவிப்பாளருக்கு கட்டண ரசீதை வழங்க வேண்டும் மற்றும் குழந்தை அவர்களின் குடியிருப்பில் கல்வி பெறுகிறது என்பதை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் சுய சான்றிதழை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும். 

இந்த விதி 17.2.2023 முதல் அமலுக்கு வருகிறது.
