 Rules, Rights & Rites -132

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).
However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

RTP Counting of service - Supreme Court of India Judgment (06.04.2026)

The Supreme Court heard the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by the Union of India against the High Court's December 2025 order in the case of RTP service.
The Court observed that the High Court had already mentioned that previous SLPs on the same issue (Dheeraj Pal and Raksh Pal Singh) had been dismissed.
The Court noted that despite these prior dismissals, the present petition was still filed.
The Supreme Court dismissed the petition and imposed a cost of ₹25,000 on the petitioners.
The cost was ordered to be deposited into the "Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund" at Canara Bank within four weeks.
The crux of the High Court of Delhi Judgment (10.12.2025)
The Union of India challenged an order dated 29.08.2025 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), which had ruled in favour of respondent Sangeeta Kaushik.
The CAT had quashed previous impugned orders and directed the petitioners to extend benefits to the respondent based on a precedent from the High Court for the State of Telangana.
These benefits included consequential upgrades under the MACP Scheme and pensionary benefits.
The High Court noted that the issue was already covered by its previous judgments, specifically Union of India v. Sh. Dheeraj Pal and Union of India v. Raksh Pal Singh.
Finding no merit in the petition, the High Court dismissed it and disposed of all pending applications.
