I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).
However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Changes to the GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal under IT 2.0
• The department is transitioning from a quarterly cycle to a half-yearly CCE cycle.
• A provision for a centralized, Pan-India notification for compassionate engagement has been approved.
• The CEPT (Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology) is tasked with updating the portal by March 15, 2026, for a launch on April 1, 2026.
• Cases received until March 31, 2026, will follow the existing quarterly review model.
• New cases starting April 1, 2026, will be handled under the new Pan-India schedule (August 2026 schedule).
• Circles must complete pending cases in the existing portal by May 31, 2026. Any remaining undecided cases will be transferred to the new August 2026 schedule.
