 Rules, Rights & Rites -97

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).

However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

Parliament reply provided by the Minister of State for Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, on the Status of 8th Pay Commission (CPC)

The 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) has already been constituted.

The ToR of the 8th CPC were formally notified via a Ministry of Finance Resolution dated 03.11.2025.

The commission is set to benefit approximately 50.14 lakh Central Government employees and 69 lakh pensioners.

The 8th CPC will submit its recommendations within 18 months from the date of its constitution (as specified in the 03.11.2025 Resolution).

The date of implementation of the 8th CPC shall be decided by the Government (no commitment to the speculated 01.01.2026 date was made).

The Government will make appropriate provision of funds for implementing the accepted recommendations of the 8th CPC.

The 8th CPC will devise its own methodology and procedure for formulating its recommendations (implying the commission will decide the scope and timing of consultations with employee/pensioner associations).
