Who has been granted the authority to redeploy Group B (Gazetted and Non-Gazetted) posts within the Department of Posts, and what is the reporting requirement for such actions?
The Heads of Circles have been granted the authority to redeploy all Group B (Gazetted and Non-Gazetted) posts, subject to the concurrence of the Circle IFA (Circle Internal Financial Adviser). Following any such redeployment, the Circles are required to submit the details to the Postal Services Board (PSB) for information on a quarterly basis. This report must be submitted before the 10th of the month following the end of the quarter (i.e., before the 10th of January, April, July, and October).
