However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. • The Department of Posts forwarded the representation of the All India Gramin Dak Sevaks Union (AIGDSU). concerns the provision of TA/DA and basic facilities to GDS during training programs and departmental events.
• The letter dated June 9, 2025, highlighted concerns about the lack of financial and logistical support for GDS. Specific issues included: Non-sanction of TA/DA. Lack of basic amenities. Personal expenses incurred by GDS. Non-uniform implementation of a previous Directorate Order.
• The GDS Section has already constituted a committee to address this issue. This committee was formed via a letter dated July 2, 2025.
• The committee is tasked with examining the matter and recommending an appropriate mechanism. The goal is to provide reimbursement for travel, boarding, lodging, and incidental expenses for GDS attending official training and departmental initiatives.
• The matter is currently being dealt with in the Establishment Division. The representation has been forwarded for further necessary action.
