Can unutilized joining time be saved or credited to an employee's leave account?
Yes, the period of unutilized joining time can be credited to an employee's Earned Leave account. This process is regulated under the provisions of the Central Civil Service (Leave) Rules, 1972. Additionally, joining time can be combined with vacation or regular leave of any kind or duration, though it cannot be combined with casual leave.
