Constant Attendant Allowance (CAA) Enhancement

Following the Department of Expenditure's instruction to increase Dearness Allowance (DA) from 46% to 50% effective from January 1, 2024, the rate of Constant Attendant Allowance has been enhanced by 25%, rising from Rs. 6,750/- to Rs. 8,438/- per month. This adjustment adheres to the standing policy that the CAA rate for civilian pensioners shall increase by 25% every time the DA on the revised pay in the Pay Matrix increases by 50%. These updated orders, effective from 01.01.2024, were issued by the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare under OM No. 1/5/2024-P&PW(F)-9809 dated 18.09.2024.
