The amount of Night Duty Allowance must be worked out separately for each individual employee. This calculation is specifically based on the basic pay the concerned employee is drawing on the actual date they are performing the night duty. Furthermore, both the basic pay and the Dearness Allowance (DA) used for this calculation must be those prevalent as per the 7th CPC. These specific calculation parameters are mandated by OM No: A-27018/02/2022-Estt. (AL) dated 02.09.2022.
