What specific child care benefits are provided to women employees with disabilities, and what is the rule for increasing this allowance?
Women employees with disabilities are entitled to a Special Allowance for child care in the amount of Rs. 3000/- per month. This benefit is payable from the time of the child's birth until the child reaches two years of age. To ensure the value of the allowance is maintained, this limit is raised by 25% every time the Dearness Allowance (DA) on the revised pay structure increases by 50%. These provisions are established under OM No. A-27023/02/2017-Estt (AL) dated 24/10/2017.
