Preference is given to applicants with disabilities
What preference is given to applicants with disabilities when considering discretionary out-of-turn allotments for general pool residential accommodation in Delhi?
According to the Ministry of Urban Development, Directorate of Estates Office Memorandum No. 12035/2/97-Pol.II(Vol.III) dated 7th October, 2014, the competent authority has decided that applicants with disabilities should preferably be allotted ground floor accommodation when being considered for discretionary allotments on an out-of-turn basis on medical grounds. This decision follows the guidelines established by the Department of Personnel and Training and reinforces the extant Directorate of Estates guidelines issued on 17.11.1997
