12. As per the letter Tr-13/22/2022-Training-DOP dated 24.11.2022, what is the key change regarding the Postal Assistant (PA) cadres and what are the implications for training?
The key change is the merger of the PA (SBCO) cadre with the PA (PO) cadre, effective from January 1, 2023.
This merger has several implications for training:
• The training centers (PTC Guwahati, PTC Saharanpur, and RTC Delhi) are now directed to revise the training modules, including FRACING, content development, and syllabus, to accommodate the new roles and functions of the merged PA (PO) cadre.
• These centers are also directed to develop new training modules with revised FRACING, syllabus, and content for the PA (FPO) cadre.
• PTC Saharanpur and RTC Delhi are tasked with creating a refresher course for the in-service training of PA (SBCO) and PA (FPO).
• PTC Mysuru is instructed to incorporate the changes into its training materials for PA (FPO) in collaboration with PTC Saharanpur and RTC Delhi to accommodate the new roles and functions associated with the PA (FPO) and PA (SBCO) cadres
