258. Daily Rules Recap - Modification in the verification of applications for compassionate appointments
• As per the Relative Merit Points System (RMPS) dated March 23, 2022, the procedure for verification of movable and immovable property required verification from documents like bank statements, Income Tax Returns (ITR), etc., by divisional/regional/circle authorities.
• This process has now been simplified, and an affidavit from the applicant, duly verified by the Senior Divisional Inspector (SDI), is considered sufficient.
• This simplification is expected to reduce delays in the verification process.
• This revised procedure will be applicable from the vacancy year 2022 onwards
