23. Prior to 01.09.2008, only one transfer grant is permitted if the transfer of husband and wife takes place within 6 months of each other from the same place to the same place? Whether the same provision continues?

Now, if the transfer takes place within six months, but after 60 days of the transfer of the spouse, fifty percent of the transfer grant on transfer shall be allowed to the spouse transferred later.

24. If the Government servant, on retirement settled at the last station of duty itself or within a distance of less than 20 kms, whether he is entitled for any lump sum transfer grant?

In such cases, if change of residence is actually involved, one third of the composite transfer grant shall be admissible

25. An official is deputed to one office and he has been drawing Daily Allowance for 180 days. Thereafter he has not been paid with any TA/DA. Is it correct?

As per SR 116, the transfer grant is admissible only if change of residence is involved. After 180 days, he can claim T.A bill by changing his residence to the newly posted station. But daily allowance as if temporary transfer will be entitled only up to 180 days.

26. Whether DA is admissible on Sunday, holiday, casual leave and RH to Government Servant on temporary duty at an out station?

(i) Government servant availing  CL or RH while on tour is not entitled to draw DA.
(i) DA is not admissible for any day whether Sunday or holiday unless the officer is actually and  not merely constructive in camp
