Booking speed post articles
Speed post is a high-speed service introduced by the department from 1^st August 1986. It  offers a guaranteed time-bound delivery of mail. 

In the inland speed post service, any postal article that can be sent by registered post can be  sent by speed post. These include letters, book packets and parcels. In the international speed post  service, business and commercial documents including cheques, legal documents and computer data  like computer discs can be sent. Gifts and sample packets except those included in Schedule 1 to  Export (Control) order 1968 are allowed in merchandise speed post.

In view of the time-sensitive nature of this class of mail, these articles are not mixed with  regular mail and consigned through exclusive channel. The speed post network is functioning as  below

∙ There are 94 speed post centers on the national network identified as National Sorting  hubs; These sorting hubs close bags to each other; These are exclusive processing  centers for speed post and will not perform booking and delivery transactions
∙ Post office book and deliver speed post articles; Post offices communicate with speed  post centers for dispatch and receipt of articles; For the purpose of this exchange, Post  offices are identified under National Sorting hub with which such exchange takes  place. Post offices under a National sorting hub are called catchment area Post  Offices.

∙ Post offices will have to consign the speed post articles booked only to their sorting  hub; They should not close independent bags to any other office
∙ In some circles, intra circle hubs are introduced; In such circles Post offices are  identified under both NSH intra-circle hub (ICH)
∙ The intra circle hubs which are speed post processing centers like NSH function as  below
o They receive speed post articles from the catchment area POs meant for  delivery POs mapped as well as to other offices in the same circle
o Articles for other ICH/NSH in the same circle are directly consigned in bags o Articles for other circles are sent to the parent NSH
∙ Post offices will not take up the detailed sorting of articles; Articles booked will be  sorted into the following two categories
o TD – Articles to be delivered by other Post offices in the same catchment  area of the parent sorting hub
o NTD – articles meant for delivery by other Post Offices

∙ Sorting hubs will take up the NTD or TD mail for sorting based on priority ∙ Post offices will have to strictly adhere to the cut off timings in the dispatch of bags as  any delay will reduce the processing time at the sorting hub

∙ All the speed post articles will have to be invariably handled in speed net and affixed  with 13 digit barcode; 
In the above barcode, note that the first character ‘E’ denotes the service speed post, the  second character ‘K’ denotes the postal circle where it is used; Next 8 digits which are numbers  indicate the article number; the ninth digit is a check digit which is used to electronically check the  correctness of 8 digits while scanning; the last two digits ‘IN’ indicates the country

∙ Unique barcodes have to be affixed to each speed post articles and duplication should  be strictly avoided; To ensure uniqueness the department has prescribed the following  classification for barcodes

Post offices collect speed post articles from various sources. They are
∙ From individual customers who present the articles at the counter
∙ From BNPL (Book now pay later) customers in bulk 
∙ From bulk customers
∙ From collection agents who book the articles on commission
Weight limit
Maximum weight is 35 kilograms 
Tariff will be posted separately.
Proof of delivery: Rs. 10/- +GST @ 18%
Insurance facility is available as in the case of registered articles subject to the same limits,  prohibitions and tariff structure.

வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளை முன்பதிவு செய்தல்

வேகப்பதிவு என்பது 1986 ஆகஸ்ட் 1 முதல் துறையால் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட அதிவேக சேவையாகும். இது மின்னஞ்சலின் நேரக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு விநியோகத்தை உத்தரவாதம் செய்கிறது.

உள்நாட்டு வேகப்பதிவு சேவையில், பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட தபால் மூலம் அனுப்பக்கூடிய எந்தவொரு தபால் கட்டுரையையும் வேகப்பதிவு மூலம் அனுப்பலாம். இதில் கடிதங்கள், புத்தகப் பொதிகள் மற்றும் பார்சல்கள் ஆகியவை அடங்கும். சர்வதேச வேகப்பதிவு சேவையில், காசோலைகள், சட்ட ஆவணங்கள் மற்றும் கணினி வட்டுகள் போன்ற கணினி தரவு உள்ளிட்ட வணிக மற்றும் வணிக ஆவணங்களை அனுப்பலாம். 1968 ஏற்றுமதி (கட்டுப்பாடு) உத்தரவின் அட்டவணை 1 இல் சேர்க்கப்பட்டவை தவிர, பரிசுகள் மற்றும் மாதிரி பொதிகள் வணிக வேகப்பதிவில் அனுமதிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

• தேசிய வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையங்களாக அடையாளம் காணப்பட்ட தேசிய நெட்வொர்க்கில் 94 வேகப்பதிவு மையங்கள் உள்ளன; இந்த வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையங்கள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று பைகளை மூடுகின்றன; இவை வேகப்பதிவுக்கான பிரத்யேக செயலாக்க மையங்கள் மற்றும் முன்பதிவு மற்றும் டெலிவரி பரிவர்த்தனைகளைச் செய்யாது.

• தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளை முன்பதிவு செய்து வழங்குகின்றன; கட்டுரைகளை அனுப்புதல் மற்றும் பெறுதல் ஆகியவற்றிற்காக தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் வேகப்பதிவு மையங்களுடன் தொடர்பு கொள்கின்றன; இந்த பரிமாற்றத்தின் நோக்கத்திற்காக, தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் தேசிய வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையத்தின் கீழ் அடையாளம் காணப்படுகின்றன, இதன் மூலம் அத்தகைய பரிமாற்றம் நடைபெறுகிறது. ஒரு தேசிய வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையத்தின் கீழ் உள்ள தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் கேட்ச்மென்ட் பகுதி தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன.

• தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் முன்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளை அவற்றின் வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையத்திற்கு மட்டுமே அனுப்ப வேண்டும்; அவை வேறு எந்த அலுவலகத்திற்கும் சுயாதீன பைகளை மூடக்கூடாது.

• சில வட்டங்களில், உள் வட்ட மையங்கள் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன; அத்தகைய வட்டங்களில் தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் NSH உள் வட்ட மையம் (ICH) இரண்டின் கீழும் அடையாளம் காணப்படுகின்றன.

• NSH போன்ற வேகப்பதிவு செயலாக்க மையங்களாக இருக்கும் உள் வட்ட மையங்கள் பின்வருமாறு செயல்படுகின்றன

  • அவை கேட்ச்மென்ட் பகுதி PO களில் இருந்து வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளை பெறுகின்றன, அவை மேப் செய்யப்பட்ட டெலிவரி PO களுக்கும் அதே வட்டத்தில் உள்ள பிற அலுவலகங்களுக்கும் வழங்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
  • அதே வட்டத்தில் உள்ள மற்ற ICH/NSH க்கான கட்டுரைகள் நேரடியாக பைகளில் அனுப்பப்படுகின்றன.
  • மற்ற வட்டங்களுக்கான கட்டுரைகள் பெற்றோர் NSH க்கு அனுப்பப்படுகின்றன.

• தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் கட்டுரைகளின் விரிவான வரிசையை மேற்கொள்ளாது; முன்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகள் பின்வரும் இரண்டு வகைகளாக வரிசைப்படுத்தப்படும்

  • TD - பெற்றோர் வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையத்தின் அதே கேட்ச்மென்ட் பகுதியில் உள்ள மற்ற தபால் அலுவலகங்களால் வழங்கப்பட வேண்டிய கட்டுரைகள்
  • NTD - மற்ற தபால் அலுவலகங்களால் வழங்கப்பட வேண்டிய கட்டுரைகள்

• வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையங்கள் முன்னுரிமையின் அடிப்படையில் NTD அல்லது TD தபாலை வரிசைப்படுத்துகின்றன.

• பைகள் அனுப்புவதில் கட் ஆஃப் நேரங்களை தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் கண்டிப்பாக கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டும், ஏனெனில் ஏதேனும் தாமதம் வரிசைப்படுத்தும் மையத்தில் செயலாக்க நேரத்தை குறைக்கும்.

• அனைத்து வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளும் தவறாமல் ஸ்பீட் நெட்டில் கையாளப்பட்டு 13 இலக்க பார்கோடு ஒட்டப்பட வேண்டும்; மேலே உள்ள பார்கோட்டில், முதல் எழுத்து 'E' சேவை வேகப்பதிவைக் குறிக்கிறது என்பதையும், இரண்டாவது எழுத்து 'K' அது பயன்படுத்தப்படும் தபால் வட்டத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது என்பதையும் கவனத்தில் கொள்ளவும்; எண்களாக இருக்கும் அடுத்த 8 இலக்கங்கள் கட்டுரை எண்ணைக் குறிக்கின்றன; ஒன்பதாவது இலக்கம் ஒரு செக் இலக்கமாகும், இது ஸ்கேன் செய்யும் போது 8 இலக்கங்களின் சரியான தன்மையை மின்னணு முறையில் சரிபார்க்கப் பயன்படுகிறது; கடைசி இரண்டு இலக்கங்கள் 'IN' நாட்டைக் குறிக்கிறது.

• பார்கோடு அமைப்பை மீண்டும் செய்யவும் - தபால் அலுவலகங்கள் பல்வேறு ஆதாரங்களில் இருந்து வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளை சேகரிக்கின்றன. அவை

• கவுண்டரில் கட்டுரைகளை வழங்கும் தனிப்பட்ட வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடமிருந்து
• BNPL (இப்போது முன்பதிவு செய்து பின்னர் பணம் செலுத்து) மொத்தமாக வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடமிருந்து
• மொத்த வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடமிருந்து
• கமிஷனில் கட்டுரைகளை முன்பதிவு செய்யும் சேகரிப்பு முகவர்களிடமிருந்து எடை வரம்பு அதிகபட்ச எடை 35 கிலோகிராம் கட்டணம் தனியாக இடுகையிடப்படும். டெலிவரி சான்று: ரூ. 10/- +GST @ 18% பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகளின் விஷயத்தில் உள்ளது போல், அதே வரம்புகள், தடைகள் மற்றும் கட்டண அமைப்புக்கு உட்பட்டு காப்பீட்டு வசதி கிடைக்கிறது. இந்தியா போஸ்ட் இணையதளத்தில் வேகப்பதிவு கட்டுரைகளுக்கான கண்காணிப்பு வசதி உள்ளது.
