 Whether VRS given by the disabled person should be accepted straightaway?
According to DOPT OM No. 25012/1/2015-Estt.AIv dated 7.9.2020, a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) request from a disabled person should not be accepted immediately. 

Instead, if the disability occurred during their service and renders them unsuitable for their current post, they should be shifted to another suitable post with the same pay scale and service benefits until their superannuation. 

The official should be advised to withdraw their VRS notice, as per the provisions of Section 20 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016. Only if the official insists on proceeding with VRS after all these options have been explored, should their request be processed.

DOPT OM எண். 25012/1/2015-Estt.AIv தேதி 7.9.2020 இன் படி, ஒரு ஊனமுற்ற நபர் வழங்கும் தன்னார்வ ஓய்வுத் திட்ட (VRS) கோரிக்கை உடனடியாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படக்கூடாது. 

மாறாக, அவர்களின் சேவையின் போது ஊனம் ஏற்பட்டால் மற்றும் அவர்களின் தற்போதைய பதவிக்கு அவர்கள் தகுதியற்றவர்களாக இருந்தால், அவர்கள் சூப்பர்அனுவேஷன் வரை அதே ஊதிய விகிதம் மற்றும் சேவை பலன்களுடன் மற்றொரு பொருத்தமான பதவிக்கு மாற்றப்பட வேண்டும். 

உரிமைகள் சட்டம், 2016 இன் பிரிவு 20 இன் விதிகளின்படி, அந்த அதிகாரி தனது VRS அறிவிப்பை திரும்பப் பெற அறிவுறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். இந்த விருப்பங்கள் அனைத்தும் ஆராயப்பட்ட பிறகு அந்த அதிகாரி VRS உடன் தொடர வலியுறுத்தினால் மட்டுமே அவர்களின் கோரிக்கை செயல்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.
