 Formation of Eighth Pay Commission

• The Cabinet has given its approval for the formation of Eighth Pay Commission in the Cabinet meeting held on 16.1.2025.

*       The Commission will be appointed soon.

• The Pay Commission’s recommendations will be submitted in the next year 2026.

• 7th CPC term will expire on 31.12.2025 .

• This was insisted in the pre budget meeting with the Finance Minister by the Central Trade Unions & JCM Staff Side
