What are the age relaxation benefits provided to widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands for appointment to Group 'C' and 'D' posts under the Central Government?

For appointments to Group 'C' and 'D' posts under the Central Government that are filled through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Employment Exchanges, the upper age limit for widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands who are not re-married shall be relaxed up to the age of 35 years. For those belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST), the upper age limit is relaxed up to 40 years. This benefit is granted by invoking the provisions in the relevant Recruitment Rules; however, there shall be no relaxation regarding educational qualifications or the prescribed method of recruitment.
