32. What are the tenure and "cooling off" period rules for a Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) who is temporarily engaged as a Territory Officer at the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB)?
According to Office Memorandum No. 17-24/2017-GDS dated June 7, 2022, the tenure for a GDS temporarily engaged as a Territory Officer at IPPB is two years, which can be extended for an additional one year based on the business requirements of the IPPB. After completing this temporary engagement, there is a mandatory "cooling off" period of two years.
