14. Based on the Office Memorandum No. 1(9)/2010/D (Res-l) dated April 10, 2013, what are the criteria for granting ex-servicemen status to Army Postal Service personnel?
The Office Memorandum refers to an order from the Hon'ble AFT Chandigarh dated March 26, 2010. According to this order, personnel who were on deputation in the Army Postal Service for more than six months prior to April 14, 1987, are to be considered as ex-servicemen with all consequential benefits. The document notes that some of these personnel are being denied these benefits.
