Annual Health Check up at empanelled hospitals for CGHS pensioners aged 75 years and above

• As per the Office Memorandum (OM) dated 19.8.2021, CGHS beneficiaries aged 75 years are entitled to an Annual Health Check-Up.
• For this, prior permission must be obtained from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in-charge of the Wellness Centre.
• There have been instances of complaints about the non-issuance of permission by the CGHS Wellness Centres.
• It is advised to adhere to the instructions strictly and directed to issue permission to the CGHS beneficiaries accordingly.
• This information is based on MOF & FW OM No.Z.16025/12/2024/CGHS-III dated 18.3.2024.
