The Department of Posts (SR Section) forwarded a representation letter (No. R-III/Periodical Meeting/2022 dated 05/02/2023) from the General Secretary of the All India RMS & MMS Employees Union Group 'C' to relevant offices for necessary action. 

It was officially noted that this specific issue regarding the grant of a special allowance to PO & RMS Accountants had already been settled and closed following approval from the competent authority during the periodical meeting held on 20/12/2022 with the NFPE and its affiliated service associations. 

As detailed in the annexed minutes, the matter regarding the grant of Special Allowance to PO & RMS Accountants was categorized as an item closed under the Establishment Division items.
